Congratulations to Gillian Steele, our Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, who has fought off tough competition to be awarded 2nd place out of the "super six" finalist in the prestigious New Civil Engineer Graduate Awards 2016.
The awards recognise the most promising all-round civil engineers in the industry. The awards received a huge number of incredibly high quality entries this year, so making it to the finals is a fantastic achievement.
Find out what makes Gillian so special and how she plans to #MakeTomorrow in the video below.
Gillian, a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, now plans to further develop her prototype 'Geo-box' workshop which aims to show children how different ground conditions can react and interact with buildings and structures built upon them.
