Opus provides a comprehensive range of services in the land transportation sector.  We assist our clients in the planning, development, maintenance and operation of their infrastructure assets.  An integrated approach is taken to the asset life cycle which provides optimisation of existing assets and increased capacity through empowerment, replacement and provision of new facilities.

We focus on road, rail, cycling and walking.  Our clients include road and rail controlling authorities, transportation planning agencies, private developers and transport operators.

Cruise Line Terminal, Southampton, United Kingdom

Opus was commissioned to provide the structural, civil and traffic engineering design for a new cruise liner terminal at Southampton.  Associated British Ports required the new terminal to cater for the increase in the size and number of cruise ships operating from the port.

West Coast Main Line Temporary Works Design Scheme, United Kingdom

Network Rail had an ambitious plan to widen a section of the West Coast Main Line from two to four tracks.  It was due in part to the temporary works design solution provided by our Rossett and Cardiff offices, for the Contractor Galliford Try, that the multi-million pound project met the client’s plan and was delivered on schedule.

Westfield's Development at White City, London, United Kingdom

Opus provided the engineering and transportation services to the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham (council) for Westfield’s new development at White City, London. The Westfield development at White City is one of Europe’s largest with an estimated construction cost of £1.75Billion.
