Opus Architecture is a leading team of building design professionals – architects, space planners, interior and graphic designers, quantity surveyors and project managers – operating within the institutional, commercial, health, leisure and educational sectors. With many design awards for completed projects Opus Architecture has justifiably earned a reputation for innovative design solutions.

In our projects we frequently work with in-house structural, civil and building services engineers to provide a total, managed, multi-professional design service. 

We operate from seven locations throughout New Zealand and an office in London. Opus designers work closely with clients to develop sustainable building projects that exceed all quality expectations and are completed on time and within budget.

The basic principles of consulting, questioning and working closely with our customers underly all of our project work. Through our project work clients develop an indepth understanding of all that is fundamental to good design.

London Underground’s Piccadilly Line Modernisation, United Kingdom

Opus Architecture worked with Tube Lines Limited as joint lead designers and architects for the London Underground’s Piccadilly Line modernisation programme. Stations in the programme include Arnos Grove, Sudbury Hill, South Ealing, Caledonian Road and Manor House Station.  The refurbishment of Arnos Grove, a historic station, considered to be one of Charles Holden’s finest designs, included extensive improvements to the mechanical, electrical and communication facilities, as well as upgrading of the ground level ticket hall building and the two island platforms.

Premier Business Park, Luton, United Kingdom

Opus carried out the architectural and interior design for this prestigious new office development located on a former industrial site in Luton. Designed to a high specification, to serve as a new business headquarters, Premier Business Park comprises of an office and adjoining warehouse building with 12 further units for sale or lease to local businesses.
