As consultants to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, Opus has most recently has been involved in the design of a new unique double slipway, a replacement station and new boathouse.

- At Exmouth, Opus worked on a new boathouse and an environmental impact assessment was undertaken to consider the ecology, noise and visual impact of the new building.

- Opus provided the design of a replacement slipway station at Bembridge, which includes a 160m long elevated walkway that is precast in concrete and supported by bored and grouted steel piles. 

- Sennen Cove features a unique longer slipway than most and was specifically designed to launch the new Tamar class all-weather lifeboat.
