Following the construction of new section of highway providing a link road between the centre of Ruthin and the main road to Denbigh, Opus completed a Stage 3 Road Safety Audit. 

The new road is approximately 2 miles long and incorporates a new roundabout, a bridge over the river Clwyd and a shared cycle/footway.  
The road has been designed to service a number of new residential development areas in addition to providing an improved route to the busy livestock market in Ruthin. 

A feature of the scheme is that it also incorporates access to the existing adjacent agricultural land.
