Opus was commissioned by Cowlin Construction to undertake civil and structural engineering for a new development at Redcliffe Point in central Bristol. The development has seen the conversion from an old run-down 1950s textile store to four-floors of quality commercial offices and the creation of apartments (urban village) above the roof level. The village consists of fourteen one- and two-storey apartments completely isolated from the office development with their own access lifts and lobby. Another feature is the elliptical atrium which has a spiral steel and glass staircase.
The building was short listed for both the British Council of Offices Award and the Daily Telegraph Award.
