As part of our commission for the Highways Agency in managing the highway network in Lincolnshire and parts of Nottinghamshire, North Lincolnshire and Norfolk, Opus carried out safety reviews on a number of sections of the trunk roads. 

These reviews helped highlight accident issues that were particular to route types and user behaviour.  As a result of these studies it was possible to identify not only specific sites where the implementation of simple engineering measures would help reduce accident figures but also the sections of routes where it was identified that a coherent series of modifications would aid in improvement of driver behavioural patterns.
