In conjunction with the Road Surface Treatments Association (RSTA), Opus’ Andy Tovey (Director - Highways) will be speaking at a one day training course about High Friction Surfacing, and crack and joint repair systems. High Friction Surfacing has become instrumental over the past 50 years in preventing road traffic accidents, therefore saving lives, by reducing braking distances and improving skid resistance.
The event will take place in Preston on the 20th November 2015 and includes presentations that cover a technical introduction into theory and practice, and latest industry developments.
Cracks and failing joints have recently created a high demand for a new generation of special repair materials and Andy’s presentation will touch on the benefits of asset management.
This event is approved for CPD hours by the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation.
