Opus is undertaking major work at The Celtic Manor Resort, in South Wales which will host the Ryder Cup in 2010.
The longstanding work at Celtic Manor saw Opus UK Operations Director, Alun Parfitt undertake the civil works associated with design for the Wentwood Hills course.
Caernarfon, North Wales, United Kingdom
Opus undertook a flood study relating to the redevelopment plans at Caernarfon, for Gwynedd Council and the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG). The study included modelling of the River Seiont (Afon Seiont) to allow redevelopment of the St Helen's Road into Caernarfon.
Wellington Wastewater Project, Mainzeal and Anglian Water International, New Zealand
Design services for this design/build/operate contract included tanks and clarifiers, pipework and civil works. Services also included contract documentation and supervision. Opus worked within a very tight site with designs that efficiently accommodated a number of project processes.
