I have been working with global teams to develop processes and systems that foster an innovative culture to deliver technical excellence. There are almost 50 practice interest networks (PINs) across the company to connect staff to share best practice in their fields.
Again, working with global teams, we have adopted a sophisticated project management accreditation framework, internally, we call this the PMAF framework. All of our project managers have been trained and assessed and given a rating. This rating defines the complexity of projects they are qualified to manage. The system ensures that projects are delivered effectively and efficiently to our clients.
We also commit resources annually to a Technical Investment Fund. The fund provides financial support for our staff to push boundaries of conventional thinking and in doing so, unlock a genuinely new way of doing things that delivers lasting benefits to our communities.
“We support our staff to push boundaries of conventional thinking and in doing so, unlock a genuinely new way of doing things that delivers lasting benefits to our communities.”
I’m proud to work with our thought leaders, from service excellence leaders to technical principals and sector directors. Our thought leaders sit on a wide range of engineering committees and industry panels and participate in research fellowships and work with universities to shape a better future.
Don’t just take our word for it. During 2015, we actually won over 50 awards for our projects globally. I think this level of industry recognition and accolade prove that we are deeply committed to delivering sustainable solutions through a highly developed understanding of how people live and interact with infrastructure and that we strive for excellence in everything we do.
