Alec Webster
Director International Operations

Alec Webster was appointed Director International Operations in 2010 and  was Opus' General Manager International Operations for two years prior. Alec joined Opus from the United Kingdom where he was the Director of WSP Development Ltd, part of the WSP Group plc, a large United Kingdom publicly listed multi-disciplinary consultancy. His initial appointment was as Opus’ Northern Regional Manager, based in Auckland in 1999. After two successful years in this position he was promoted to the position of General Manager New Zealand Operations. Alec has an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering, is a Chartered Professional Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Professional Engineers of New Zealand. He is also a Chartered Engineer in the United Kingdom and a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers. In 2009 Alec attended the Stanford University Executive Programme.
